Dr. Jiwei Zhou is a passionate Computer Vision Scientist currently serving at Heliponix, LLC. He distinguished himself academically, earning a Ph.D. degree at Purdue University. During his studies, he worked as a research assistant at Purdue's Digital Enterprise Center, honing his skills and knowledge in his areas of interest.

Dr. Zhou's research interests are wide-ranging and innovative, including Machine Vision, Computer-Aided Process Planning (CAPP), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Digital Manufacturing, and Model-Based Definition (MBD). Before his time at Purdue, Dr. Zhou worked as an application engineer for Siemens Industry Software. In this role, he garnered substantial experience in PLM and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) development quality processes. His tenure at Siemens also afforded him a wealth of on-site technical support experience at Siemens' GO PLM partner universities.
